Arched Leaded Glass Casement Windows Arts & Crafts 62x36
Arched Leaded Glass Casement Windows 62×36. Absolutely amazing arts & crafts /tutor style windows built in 1901 by a famous architect Joseph Cather Newsom prolific designer and builder of late-C19. At the beginning (1878) he was building in the Eastlake or Stick style, then they turned to Colonial Queen Anne, boarded gables, gouty colonnettes and extreme ornamentation in what can only be described as an exuberant free style. Then a flirtation with the Colonial Revival or Shingle style, the château style, the Georgian Colonial Revival, and Beaux-Arts Classicism. Later he turned to regional Mission Revival (based on Spanish Colonial architecture) and around 1900 to the Arts-and-Crafts style. Whatever style used, it was never guilty of restrain.
