This is a beautiful museum quality Reproduction of Tiffany Studios wonderful Wisteria Lamp on its Large tree trunk bronze base. Considered to be one of the lamps with the Irregular Upper and Lower Border shades, Dr. Neustadt, in his book, “The Lamps of Tiffany” states “In conception, as well as workmanship, these shades represent the apogee of all Tiffany’s creative accomplishments”. “Infinitely delicate in design, the standard Wisteria is made up of more than a thousand small pieces of painstakingly selected glass in highly complicated, meticulously cut, curved shapes”. This particular Yellow Wisteria shade actually has 1,930 pieces of glass in it, primarily Youghiogheny, Uroborus and Bullseye glass. They flow down from the bronze tree branch crown and are supported by bronze branches running through the leaded glass leaves down the sides of the glass shade to its very irregular lower border. This shade also features the gently rounded corners from the Bronze crown to the sides of the shade. The Bronze base is an Odyssey Lamp base and is guaranteed to be an exact reproduction of a model produced by Tiffany Studios. The molds from which it was case were taken directly off an original Tiffany lampbase. No parts or external details have been altered or simplified. The patination technique is identical to that emnployted by Tiffany Studios. This is a true reproduction in every way. The original Tiffany Wisteria Lamps were the design of one of Tiffany’s Girls, Clara Driscoll who also designed the Dragonfly Shades. This is a beautiful large lamp, standing about 26 inches tall on its 14 inch patinated base. The shade is 18 inches in diameter and some 16 to 17 inches tall. The base alone weighs 19.25 pounds and the shade weighs in at 18.15 pounds making a lamp that comes in just under 40 pounds of bronze and leaded glass. Just a wonderful lamp. The Wisteria lamp is my personal favorite lamp and one of the reasons I got into this kind of lamp business some 50 years ago. A wonderful opportunity to have one for your home or office at a fraction of those costs. At the present time, there is a good selection of numerous models of both shades and bases. Condition: The shade has 15 glass pieces with cracks from which only 2 are serious crack the other 13 are hard to see. In good condition with a few cracks to the glass pieces (see pictures). Up for you consideration’this season is an immaculate Tiffany Studios Rookwood Pottery Lamp, circa 1915. It has been in our family for over 60 years, brought to joy to us with its soft lights, craftsmanship and details. Being passed down from my Great Grandma, it needs a new home to continue its journey. As they say, a new end, a new beginning. About lamp shade: – it was made as ,, Acorn design. Very good to an excellent condition with a few if any heatline cracks, slightly dirty with of course commensurate to age. Signed on an edge with label ,, Tiffany Studios New York 1435. Total size of lamp is 21 1/2 inches tall by 16 inches in diameter. The lamp base has metal cluster with three ,, Hubbell sockets with original pull chains and finials, also original pierced heat cup — all metal parts of the lamp base have a nice dark brown patina. Lamp base (pottery part has no damage). It was recently rewired by electrician with time period cloth wire and plug. Please ask any questions. Very Rare Handel Oil Lamp Base For Leaded, Painted Glass Shade Tiffany Era

Up for your consideration is an Amazing and very Rare Handel Oil Lamp base with the Original 3 Light conversion ring. When these bases do come up for sell you often find them missing the most important part witch is the 3 socket ring. This ring goes one step further and has an extremely rare signed Handel Hubbell socket. The socket alone is very hard to come by and just adds to this base. This type of base was made by the Handel Lamp Company at a time when not a lot of homes had electricity. The base is 20 tall to the shade rest, 24 1/2 tall overall to top of glass. It is 8 at the widest point and has a 7 wide base. This lamp is signed as well on the bottom in the common location and on one of the shade ring sockets. The only condition issue is a small crack inside the base (shown in the pictures) this does not show through to the outside and is very stable. Just overall a very nice and hard to come by example of Handels work. I have had this in my collection for far to long and its time to let someone else be the keeper for awhile. Dont let this one slip by. Thank you for looking. I have a lot of questions regarding using the oil portion of this base. The oil canister does hold oil just fine with no leaks and it does have a wick, but will probably need a new one. I added a picture to show what kind of wick is used in these center draft style canisters. Also this lamp has the standard Handel 3-3/4 shade holder so any of the 16-20 diameter Handel painted or overlay shades will work with this base. ANTIQUE SIGNED HANDEL FLORAL LEADED GLASS LAMP SHADE & BRONZE BASE. This listing is for an antique, authentic signed Handel floral leaded glass lamp shade with bronze base. The leaded glass shade features an amazing array of colorful small floral blossoms in shades of pink, peach, yellow, orange, etc. Against a background of small multiple shades of green glass leaves. Inside the shade is the original wire loop for hanging the price tag with signature nearby. The shade is in very good condition as seen in photos, top opening has a diameter of 3-5/8, measures approx. 7 tall with a bottom diameter of approx. The lower edge of the shade features a saw-tooth style edging. Included is a lovely bronze lamp base (I also believe this to be a Handel missing its bottom felt signature pad). The base features a ribbed border edge with a circular wreath with berry accents. The inside center of the base has curved panels all around, base diameter is approx. The lower shaft of the lamp base features a tapered stem with ribbed panels and a flared upper neck that extends to a simple shaft to the sockets. There are 2 lamp sockets, each has a long chain pull with acorn on the end approx. 8 1/2 on both. On the top of the lamp base is a brass cap which fits nicely into the shade and also included is a brass screw-on finial top. The shade lifts off the dome center support. The wire is very stiff, probably not original and would advise to have it replaced. Both pull switches work. End of cord has a hard rubber plug. Overall the lamp shade and base measures approx. Please pay close attention to photos for best description of condition, thank you. Our photos are part of the description. From a very fine estate comes this stunning Antique Slag Glass Table Lamp. The shade has 8 beautiful slag glass panels held in an ornate metal frame. I believe the shade metal is bronze as it is not iron. The slag glass colors are wonderful and varied as you can see in the photos of it lighted. The base of the lamp is a combination of metals. The bottom is iron the rest is not, maybe bronze or brass as is the cap and finial. The shade simply rests on the top rim of the cap. The shade measures 15 1/2″ across and 9 1/2″ top to bottom. The base is 25 1/2″ tall by 8″ across bottom. It is in very good condition with no cracks to the glass. I see 3 tiny edge panel chips on the inside which do not show and are not at all obvious.
