This old Stained Glass window is from an English home. These transom pieces were usually over a door or across the top of a large window. It dates from the 1920’s & 30’s The sizes are 42″ x 14″ Glass & 44″ x 16″ overall including the frame The colors are red, mauve, gold, lavender, purple, green, teal & olive, The obscurity of the background glass is moderate. Antique Stained Glass Windows Art Nouveau Double Hung Top Bottom Salvage

These are great windows that were salvaged from a Baltimore Victorian home. This is a double hung or top and bottom set. They have an art nouveau design. The original frames are painted on both sides. The upper measures 31.5 inches wide, 22.5 inches high, and 1.5 inches thick. The lower measures 31.5 inches wide, 20 inches high, and 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 27 x 16 inches in each window. Overall, they are in good co ndition. Light scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. Each window has one piece of glass with hairlines. Both frames have small cosmetic chips. A few pieces of glass look like they were replaced at some point, the texture does not match but the colors are very close. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Stained Glass Window in original window wood frame. Has hinges on the wood frame. I did clean with a damp cloth but still needs a throrough cleaning. There is one small crack in glass in one window. The rest look good. One side of window was outside as it has more dirt. I know nothing about these windows so let me know if you have questions or comments. The window frame is 16 1/2 by 18 1/2. The glass is 15 by 13 1/8 and there looks to be a lip around glass frame of maybe 3/4. Nice vintage industrial steel double 6 pane casement leaded glass window with a 4 lite transom over each window. The steel frame has old crusty, chipped and flaking black paint with some rust. All of the glass is in good undamaged condition. Has a nice Brass handles with a decorative curved design. The brass Operators function as they should and can be locked is several different positions to hold the windows open, The Key bolt on the operation is marked International Casements, Jamestown, NY. Please look over the pictures and ask any questions if needed. Overall: 57″ tall x 36 1/2″ wide x 1 3/8 thick.
