Really nice set of restored antique windows. This is architectural salvage from a BRONX NY orphanage… Heyday was during the Industrial Revolution and millions were arriving from Ellis Island. These windows are in terrific condition. The frames could use a sanding/paint/ caulking. GLASS AREA APPROX MEASURE. 25″ by 21.5″. THERE ARE ZERO ISSUES/CRACKS. Antique Stained Glass Window Painted Kiln Fired 38 X 28 Architectural Salvage

This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian church. It has a new arched top frame and the glass follows this curve. Much of the glass is painted and kiln fired, there are 2 roundel jewels. It measures 38 inches wide by 28.5 tall. And 2 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 34 x 24.5. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Several pieces of glass have cracks, we have glued them so they are stable. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!

ANTIQUE STAINED FIRED GLASS WINDOW, NYC area 1940s TOMBSTONE. ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM AN UNKNOWN CHURCH IN THE NYC AREA. WINDOW DATES TO LATE 1940s. 24 5/8″ wide by 17 1/8″. I SEE A COUPLE TIGHT CRACKS, definitely nothing glaring. The window is somewhat strong not falling apart. THIS WINDOW MIGHT HAVE HAD A REPAIR DONE IN THE PAST. THERE IS NO WOOD FRAMING. Framing is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The window has 1 original support bar, there is another support running vertical from the bottom, looks to have been added by previous owner(see photos). ANTIQUE CHURCH WINDOW, 1900s FIRED PAINTED GLASS, ROUGH CUT JEWELS, NYC AREA. THIS VERY COOL WINDOW HAS. A LOT “GOING ON”.. 40 3/4″ tall, 29 3/8″ wide, 4 11/16 deep. Glass area only approximate measurements. 27″ wide, 38 1/2″ tall (unframed area approx). 2 steel rods for support. (3) rough cut jewels. 10 pyramid shaped textured glass tiles. HANDPAINTED KILN FIRED CROWN. Photos 4 and 5 show examples of tight cracks. Photo#8 shows convex edge of window. Photo#10 shows depth of frame. THIS WINDOW MOST LIKELY DATES TO EARLY 1900. It is VERY NICE and in great shape for the age. IT IS AN ANTIQUE, it’s NOT PERFECT. I HAVE INFORMATION ON QUALITY SHIPPERS. ANTIQUE GOTHIC FIRED LEADED STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOWS, KITES, SET(2) PHILA PA. THE PICTURES WILL SAY MORE THAN WORDS CAN. Very nice set of kites from the Philadelphia area. Exact church is unknown. MEASUREMENTS ARE OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU MEASURE THESE. THEY ARE EACH SLIGHTLY LESS THAN 32.5 long. EACH MEASURING ABOUT 8.25 wide. THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE OF A GENERAL NATURE… Lead is fractions greater and less depending on where you measure. PHOTOS# 6,7,8 and 9 show examples of tight cracks… There are several located on each kite. LEAD IS STRONG, these are in great condition, not at all falling apart. It is highly recommended. THERE ARE NO SUPPORT RODS, there is evidence that support bars existed at one time. SOME OF THE CRACKS HAVE EVIDENCE OF BEING GLUED OR EPOXIED. See pictures #10 and 11. Thanks for your interest! SET(2) ANTIQUE LEADED FIRED STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOWS 1920s EXC COND. THIS IS A REALLY NICE SET OF FIRED STAINED GLASS WINDOWS. Exact church location is unknown. THESE WERE COMPLETELY SEALED IN BETWEEN SAFETY GLASS, the contractor’s guess is around 100 years old. They are in above average condition. BOTH WINDOWS MEASURE APPROXIMATELY EACH. 17″ by 9.5″ by about 1/4 thick. Together in a frame they would be very close to. 34″ by 9.5″. FRAMING THESE PANELS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! Photo #7 shows a chip next to a hairline crack located near the inscription “such is the”. (right side of left panel). THERE ARE NO OTHER ISSUES. THE INSCRIPTION ON THE TWO WINDOWS READS: “for of such is the kingdom of heaven to the glory of God and in memory of William Marshal Alrich MD and also Williams Alrich”. THESE WINDOWS ARE POSSIBLY ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM THE PHILADELPHIA AREA. A little research indicates the doctor died around 1921. THESE WINDOWS MAY HAVE BEEN IN A NURSERY OR YOUTH AREA OF THE CHURCH. The inscription is referring to Matthew 19:14.
