Antique Signed Miller Lamp Base for leaded/stained glass shade
Antique Signed Miller Lamp Base for leaded/stained glass shade. This lamp to me is in extremely fine condition (see pictures they talk for themselves). Good support for any lampshade. Bryant sockets with matching acorn style pull chains. The cap and finial look to be original to the lamp. Basically a fine original piece in my condition. We are the New England association of early lighting. Our group is made up of collectors of electric lamps between 1900 to and about 1945, although our group started in New England years ago we now stretch across the country with over 100 collectors, resellers and some dealers with other Antiques. Including each other for pieces, parts bases or complete lamps and shades. One of the things we are all in agreement is that if you are purchasing a 100 year old lamp IT WILL NOT BE NEW!!!! That means that screws, sockets, wire, finals, paint, patina, shades, lose part etc may not be what came with the lamp from the original showroom they will not be perfect! . 99.9% of all lamps have these problems.
