Antique Miller leaded glass lamp Bradley & Hubbard Empire Handel

This is a wonderful signed Edward Miller & Co. The Edward Miller Company made lamps in Meriden, Conn. From 1844 to 1924 at which time their name was changed to The Miller Co. That would date the lamp base to prior to 1924. It is well signed on the base with the numbers “1114”. The lamp stands 20 inches tall on its 7 inch flower sculpted cast iron base with a coper finish. The shade is beautifully colored flowers with a couple butterflies. There are 800 or more pieces of glass in the shade. I kept loosing count trying to figure it out. It is 16 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall with a 3 1/2 inch aperture. It is unsigned and I do not know if it is original to the base which is signed. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works and looks just great. A beautiful leaded glass lamp for your home or office. Antique leaded glass Bronze/Brass Lamp Handel Bradley & Hubbard Miller Empire

This is one exquisite leaded glass lamp. There are no markings on either the base or shade. Showing the lamp to some others in the business, the consensus was that it was such a high quality base that it probably dates to 1890 to 1900. It seems to be solid brass or bronze with just wonderful detailing and with a fine patina. The lamp weighs in at over 16 pounds and stands 26 inches tall, to the top of the finial. The great base is 8 inches in diameter. Do not know the age of the shade and there are no marks. It is nice and it is very well made with a smooth dark patina to it. The apature is just over 4 inches wide. The shade has nearly 800 pieces of leaded glass in it and is 18 1/2 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall with an irregular lower border. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. Just one great beautiful lamp for your home or business. Check out the photos. Antique Signed Miller Lamp Base for leaded/stained glass shade. This lamp to me is in extremely fine condition (see pictures they talk for themselves). Good support for any lampshade. Bryant sockets with matching acorn style pull chains. The cap and finial look to be original to the lamp. Basically a fine original piece in my condition. We are the New England association of early lighting. Our group is made up of collectors of electric lamps between 1900 to and about 1945, although our group started in New England years ago we now stretch across the country with over 100 collectors, resellers and some dealers with other Antiques. Including each other for pieces, parts bases or complete lamps and shades. One of the things we are all in agreement is that if you are purchasing a 100 year old lamp IT WILL NOT BE NEW!!!! That means that screws, sockets, wire, finals, paint, patina, shades, lose part etc may not be what came with the lamp from the original showroom they will not be perfect! . 99.9% of all lamps have these problems. This is a wonderful Antique Miller & Co. 6 Panel Slag Lamp. The condition is very nice just normal age! The shade doesnt have any missing or damaged filigree that I can see, I checked it many many times. Base is marked ML Co. The shade & base go together. The shade is oblong measuring 17 long x 14 wide. The lamp is 21 tall. This lamp will go to Ups. This is a nice Antique double signed Handel Boudoir Lamp with a flower like Bent and Leaded Slag glass shade. The lamp stands 18 inches tall to the top of the finial on its 4 inch Bronze Base with a nice patinated finish to it. The combination bent slag and leaded glass shade in Greens and Pink Glass stands 6 inches tall and 7 3/4 inches wide. The lamp is signed on both the shade and the base, easily seen in the photos. This is a very attractive Miller Lamp Co Leaded Glass Lamp specimen. The lamp’s overall height is 22.5″ and the shade is 18.25″ in diameter with a height of 7. The base is marked with the Miller lamp Co mark and the base number is “1150”. I have recently rewired the lamp with a “correct” new cloth power cord and vintage style plug. The lamp looks great, the pictures do not do it justice. As far as condition, the lamp is in overall excellent condition with only a couple tight hairlines. Granite back glass with designs of cattails and water lilies on the shade. 18″ in diameter x 23″ tall. Crack to one green leaf. Wiring is older in good working condition. This is a really nice looking Miller Lamp Co Leaded Glass Lamp. The lamp stands 22 1/2 inches tall on its wonderfully flower sculpted 7 1/2 inch base. The base is well marked as noted in the photos. “EM & Co 1161″. The shade is 8 1/2 inches tall and 17 1/2 inches in diameter. Seems to be some 900 to 1,000 pieces of leaded glass in the shade and it is in perfect condition. There are 2 caps on the shade, one on top and one below the glass.
