Antique Stained Glass Windows Art Nouveau Double Hung Top Bottom Salvage
These are great windows that were salvaged from a Baltimore Victorian home. This is a double hung or top and bottom set. They have an art nouveau design. The original frames are painted on both sides. The upper measures 31.5 inches wide, 22.5 inches high, and 1.5 inches thick. The lower measures 31.5 inches wide, 20 inches high, and 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 27 x 16 inches in each window. Overall, they are in good co ndition. Light scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. Each window has one piece of glass with hairlines. Both frames have small cosmetic chips. A few pieces of glass look like they were replaced at some point, the texture does not match but the colors are very close. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
