ANTIQUE VTG SLAG STAINED LEADED GLASS WINDOW 39 X 19 X 1/2 BEAUTIFUL ART WORK. You are looking at a truly beautiful work of art made from slag glass. It is not completely symmetrical, as some of the colors are different on the mirrored image. Photo #12 shows a crack. The glass is not loose and I had to look VERY carefully to find it. There are lines through the glass which is typical of slag glass art. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL 12 PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND TO DETERMINE THE ACTUAL CONDITION. Vintage Leaded Stained Beveled White Slag Glass Transom Window Oak Frame. Features 42 individual glass panels. Some white slag glass, as well as clear wavy and beveled glass, in an oak wood frame. Frame measures approximately 35 1/2″ long x 17 1/2″ tall with the inner glass portion measuring approx. 31″ long x 13″ tall. This has been mounted to a larger wooden case to maintain the quality of the oak frame. Case measures approximately 38″ x 20″ x 5 1/2 deep. This is a vintage pre-owned estate found piece, salvaged from an old Chicago estate many years ago. In VERY GOOD condition considering the nearly antique age of this piece. The only damage we found after examining this piece is a small hairline in 1 of the upper corners of the panels.. Really not visible, but I felt it. Little to no discoloration or paint spots in the frame or glass itself. PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY TO BETTER DETERMINE CONTENTS AND CONDITION FOR YOURSELF. Vintage COLORFUL Leaded Stained Clear Slag Glass Window in Wood Frame. Features 54 individual panels of textured clear glass with slag glass accents. Measures approximately 36″ x 29″ x 1 1/2 total, with an inner measurement of approx. 31 1/2″ x 23 1/2″. This is antique and pre-owned; Estate found in great condition considering its age. There is some normal weathering and discoloration throughout, particularly in the wood frame. The only blemish in the glass we found is a crack in one of the panels. A Beautiful Large 20 Antique/Vintage Arts & Crafts Era. Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Shade w/Fruit Design. It comes with all of the original parts to make it a hanging lamp if so desired. The photos were taken showing it mounted as a shade on a sturdy floor lamp and it could be used accordingly. As you can see from the photos the blue/green/purple glass pieces are iridescent colors. Very cool when lit up! It’s a multi-panel shade that has no damage to the glass. No cracks, chips or breaks, which is rare and hard to find. (We’ll make sure to pack it so it arrives in the same condition). The apples & pears on the sides stick out about 3/4″ to 1″ from the sides. The cherries are flat. Measurements: 20″ diameter (plus the fruit that sticks out on the edge 3/4′-1″). 14tall to the top of the crown. A very helpful eBayer sent us a lovely message about the history of this shade. He said it was made by a company known as Chapman House Tiffanies in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, USA. Dennis Fusaro and Christopher Foster were the original owners. When the company closed in the 1970’s, many of the workers formed the Heart Tiffany company out of New London, Connecticut about 20 miles north of Old Saybrook. Thanks for the great info! As you can see in the photos, there is a fair amount of movement in the lead coming, but most of the glass is intact. There are a few broken/cracked pieces, but most only impact the clear glass. Originally was an operable upper sash. 29-3/4 wide x 21-1/2 tall x 1-1/4 thick. It is a large, heavy, and fragile piece though! Arts Crafts Slag Glass Leaded Antique Vintage Lamp Handel Bradley Hubbard Era. That’s an unbelievable savings!!! This is not a common lamp by any stretch and i have owned hundreds and hundreds of Bradley and Hubbard lamps in my 25 years of collecting and dealing. Lets start with the shade. The glass in this shade in very nice rich colors of that B and H are known for. The greens, yellow, and the smaller red accent colors around the border work off of each other perfectly. Again a really really cool arts and crafts/prairie style design with all the leading tight and right throughout. No missing glass segments of course but some age stresses here and there as would be expected for a shade 100+ years old. No filligree losses around the border of the shade. Now onto the base. Its properly signed Bradley and Hubbard above the socket cluster in its well known triangular form- please see photo, and its in original patina with all three period Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls matching one another and in fine working order. There is no damage at all to the very heavy base and its also been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table. All in all a super nice arts and crafts/prairie style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was so you cant beat that. From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows. Central Time Zone Add: 15%. Mountain Time Zone Add: 25%. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this.
