My wife and I discovered this fine example in an antique store in Paradise California. You might say we rescued this lamp in a way, as we took it home with us shortly before the “Camp Fire” that unfortunately devastated most of that beautiful area. Based on my experience I’ll share with you some things I think are important to know. First and foremost, this lamp is HUGE. It measures 25 1/2 wide and 16 inches high. It incorporates an estimated 500 pieces of glass. This is not a copy made somewhere recently in a factory overseas where hot glass was poured into a mold. Look at those beautiful tulips, so popular in the 20s. I have been able to find one small hairline shown in the second photograph and what appears to be a small repair shown in the last. You may find other imperfections. Please consider that this is an antique… By its very nature of being old it is not “dead mint” or perfect. The lamp has been re-electrified, and the socket is not original. If you love antiques, this lamp can bring you the experience of beauty and enjoyment typical of what I believe to be a fine work of art. Includes 14 feet of chain with electrical wiring (not old) previously used in hanging the lamp.
