Stunning Antique Leaded Stained Glass Church Window Circa 1903
Prior to the name change, the city was called Bloody Corners and reputedly was one of the most violent cities in the US. Local leaders brought religion to Bloody Corners in an attempt to disguise their violent past, and renamed the town Friendship. Among the contents, were the original stained glass windows stored in the attic below the bell tower. This beautiful all original stained glass window still preserved in the wood frame is both rare and beautiful. This one is dated 1903 and is 108 tall by 38.5 wide in frame.
