ANTIQUE OAK DOOR WITH BEVELED LEADED GLASS 38 x 83 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
This great antique door was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of oak and is unpainted. The lower part has 2 raised panels. The top has a great panel of fully beveled zinc camed glass, one piece has an etched wheel cut starburst. Most of the hardware will need to be replaced. It measures 38.5 wide, 83.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is appx 29 by 42. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. One piece of glass has a chip and small crack. There are a few paint splatters on the door. The glass has a little wiggle, a couple of the joints might need to be soldered/welded. Please look at the pictures carefully. Please inquire with your zip code and I will get you a quote quickly. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
