Pair Antique Beveled Glass Sidelites Windows 66 Tall Architectural Salvage
This is a great pair that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. Each has a beveled piece at the top with a wheel cut etched starburst. There are also beveled pieces in the middle and bottom. The rest is clear distorted glass. I see no cracks or breaks. The frames are weathered and painted, but sturdy. Each measures 12 inches wide, 66.25 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 8.25 by 61. Overall they are in good condition. Scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning but should clean up nicely. The have light bows. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! Vtg 37×57 Industrial Double 6 Lite Steel Casement Leaded Glass Window 514-20E
Nice vintage industrial steel double 6 pane casement leaded glass window with a 4 lite transom over each window. The steel frame has old crusty, chipped and flaking black paint with some rust. All of the glass is in good undamaged condition. Has a nice Brass handles with a decorative curved design. The brass Operators function as they should and can be locked is several different positions to hold the windows open, The Key bolt on the operation is marked International Casements, Jamestown, NY. Vintage Lead Glass Cabinet Windows 39x22x1 13lbs A Piece Wall Decor
Great set for the collection or use! A set of lead glass cabinet windows already hinged to be hung for wall decor. Nice vintage set giving a great accent to a room or study, they are about 13lbs a piece and measure at 39 in length and 22 wide and 1 thick. These items come from an estate. My wife and I discovered this fine example in an antique store in Paradise California. You might say we rescued this lamp in a way, as we took it home with us shortly before the “Camp Fire” that unfortunately devastated most of that beautiful area. Based on my experience I’ll share with you some things I think are important to know. First and foremost, this lamp is HUGE. It measures 25 1/2 wide and 16 inches high. It incorporates an estimated 500 pieces of glass. This is not a copy made somewhere recently in a factory overseas where hot glass was poured into a mold. Look at those beautiful tulips, so popular in the 20s. I have been able to find one small hairline shown in the second photograph and what appears to be a small repair shown in the last. You may find other imperfections. Please consider that this is an antique… By its very nature of being old it is not “dead mint” or perfect. The lamp has been re-electrified, and the socket is not original. If you love antiques, this lamp can bring you the experience of beauty and enjoyment typical of what I believe to be a fine work of art. Includes 14 feet of chain with electrical wiring (not old) previously used in hanging the lamp.
