Antique Beveled Jeweled Stained Glass Window 17.5 X 27.5 Salvage

This beautiful beveled glass window. Was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. All the clear glass is beveled all the way around. There is a red shield top center with 4 yellow jewels. There are no cracks or breaks. It is in a new pine frame that is ready for stain or paint. Measurements are 17.5 inches wide, 27.5 tall and 1.5 thick. The glass only is appx 13.75 by 23.75. Overall, it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but should clean up nicely. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! GOTHIC STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOW, FLEUR DE LIS, ORCHIDS, 1800s. Very cool window, architectural salvage from a NYC area church. In very good shape, being well over 100 years old. THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF FADING, OVERALL NOT BAD. Window measures approximately: 38.5″ tall, by about 18 5/8″ at it’s widest, about 3/16 thick. Measurements are approximate, and vary… Because it is a lead edge. LEAD ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE COULD USE A LITTLE STRAIGHTENING. Window shows NO evidence of having been worked on over the course of time (SEE PHOTOS PLEASE). THERE ARE A FEW CRACKED TILES IN THE RED EDGING. ALL IN ALL, THIS IS A UNIQUE WINDOW and HARD TO FIND ITEM. Window is in “as found” condition. I CAN ALSO MEET BUYERS WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST! It’s a Very Pretty Window With Multiple Colored Glass. Please Read This Carefully. We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass, especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It’s not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it’s desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a “crack” is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to “feel” the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it’s simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can’t crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. The window has pretty Burgundy/Purple. Two (2) Types of Green and a Type of Textured White glass. There are NO Cracks in the glass of this window. The window is about 21″ wide and about 16 1/4″ tall overall.
