Antique Stained Glass Windows Top Bottom Bevels Architectural Salvage
This is a nice set that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They are double hung, an upper window and a lower window. They have all clear distorted glass in a variety of textures and patterns. Each window has 3 beveled pieces. The original frames are in good shape, painted both sides. The upper measures 24.5 inches wide by 31.5 tall and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approx. The lower measures 24.5 inches wide by 32.5 tall and is 1.5 inches thick. Overall they are in good condition. Scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. The lower window has one small hairline. The glazing putty will need to be touched up. The lower window frame has gaps at the corners. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
