ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW 32 x 23.75 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE

This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It has nice colors and design with 9 jewels. There are no cracks or breaks. The original oak frame is painted on both sides. It measures 32 inches wide by 23.75 inches tall and 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is 28 x 20. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings to the frame as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The purple border glass is mostly painted over. There is some light bowing in places. Look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! This is a somewhat unusual stained glass window from my collection. As our son has moved out we are empty nesters figuring out what is next. I felt it was unusual and after 20 years of collecting I have yet to see an other one like it. There are approx 12-16 small cracks mostly at the bottom of the window. They are barely visible and do not detract from the viewing. Given that the fish appears to be a Carp my guess is that it originated in Chicago. Frame size is 31″ x 29″ Glass only 24 1/2″ X 26 1/2″. WE HAVE AVAILABLE TWO (2) ANTIQUE PRAIRIE STYLE STAINED GLASS WINDOWS 28 x 33 FROM ST LOUIS VICTORIAN HOUSE. THESE STAINED GLASS WINDOW PULL OPEN FROM THE INSIDE AND STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL MECHANISM. These are great windows that were salvaged from a St. Louis, Missouri Victorian era house. They have bright colors and a wonderful Prairie style. The original frames are painted on the outside and varnished stained on the inside. The glass and frame measures 28 inches wide by 33 inches tall and is 1.75 inch thick. Overall these two stained glass windows are in good condition. These are great windows that were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. They are double hung or top and bottom set. The colors and design are wonderful. The original frames are painted on both sides. The upper measures 22 inches wide, 33.25 inches high, and 1.5 inches thick. The lower measures 22 inches wide, 34.5 inches high, and 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 18.25 x 30 inches in each window. Overall, they are in good co ndition. Light scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. There are a few tight hairlines. The upper window has a cosmetic chip to the frame. Please look at the pictures carefully. The measurements are 18″ x 18″ Glass size & 20″ x 20.25″ Overall including the frame. The colors in this window are shades of Mauve, shades of Tan, shades of Green, Blue and Red with colorless Bullseyes/Roundels. Most of the glass is Heavily obscured.
