This is not a common lamp by any stretch and i have owned hundreds and hundreds of Bradley and Hubbard lamps in my 25 years of collecting and dealing. Lets start with the shade. The glass in this shade in very nice rich colors of that B and H are known for. The greens, yellow, and the smaller red accent colors around the border work off of each other perfectly. Again a really really cool arts and crafts/prairie style design with all the leading tight and right throughout. No missing glass segments of course but some age stresses here and there as would be expected for a shade 100+ years old. No filligree losses around the border of the shade. Now onto the base. Its properly signed Bradley and Hubbard above the socket cluster in its well known triangular form- please see photo, and its in original patina with all three period Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls matching one another and in fine working order. There is no damage at all to the very heavy base and its also been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table. All in all a super nice arts and crafts/prairie style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was so you cant beat that.
