Large Antique Green Wavy Glass Stained Leaded Iron Framed Church Window
LARGE ANTIQUE GREEN WAVY GLASS STAINED LEADED IRON FRAMED CHURCH WINDOW. ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM THE COAL MINE REGION OF NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA. Exact church location is unknown. 24″ tall, by about 45 3/8″ wide not including rivets that stick out on each side. (rivets and top frame edge stick out about 3/8). Frame is around 2.25 thick, plus hardware. GLASS AREA ONLY MEASUREMENTS. 22.5″ by 45″. THERE IS A RIDGE ON TOP AND BOTTOM. OF THE LARGER GREEN GLASS TILES, I ONLY SEE ONE WITH TIGHT CRACKS. There are tight cracks in and amongst the smaller edge border tiles. (photos 6 and 9 are showing the same crack). THE ANTIQUE WAVY GLASS ITSELF IS QUITE VALUABLE. HARD TO FIND AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS LIKE THIS. Being encased in iron is very heavy. THERE ARE 3 IRON RODS SUPPORTING THIS PANEL. Copper ties are attached to each.
