From a local art deco estate. Stained glass leaded window. Found in its original wood frame. Frame is appr 18″ by 18″ and is 1 3/4 thick. Leaded glass panel is appr 14.5″ by 14.5″. No cracks in glass. Frame has worn chippy paint. Has chain for hanging. (can be removed if desired).

This Stained glass features a hand painted and kiln Fired sunflower several firings are required to achieve the effects you see (no image on the back side) I use a traditional old world technique using glass stain powder that I mixed in different mediums -this style of painting images on glass is been around for century’s and will not come of the or peel it is fired in to the glass then I added some art glass colors around the focal point and lots of clear bevels, Using the Tiffany style technique for assembling the panel is framed in a sturdy zinc and its ready to hang, chain is included. During the Gothic period and the Renaissance (1100s-1500s) stained glass was one of the foremost techniques of painting practiced in Europe. 16 3/8″ x 11 3/8″ (41x29cm). Hangs vertical or horizontal.
