ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW 38 x 16 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE

This is a great window that was salvaged from a Chicago Victorian. It has wonderful colors and design with 4 jewels and a round bevel in the middle. The glass has a curved top set into a rectangular frame. The original frame is painted. It measures almost 38 inches wide by 16 tall and is. 1.75 inches thick. The glass only measures approximately 34.5 by 12.5 inches center and 9 at the ends. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. There are a couple pieces with tight hairlines but no missing glass. The inside of the frame was planed and is uneven in places. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
