ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW 24 x 19 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Reading PA home. It has great colors and a simple Arts and Crafts design. The glass has no cracks or breaks. The original frame is in good shape and is painted on both sides. It measures 24 inches wide by 19.25 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 20 by 16 inches. Overall, it is good co ndition. Light scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The frame has a cosmetic chip along one edge. The glazing putty will need to be touched up. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
