ANTIQUE STAINED AND BEVELED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW 40.25 x 16 SALVAGE
This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian. It has an unusual design with a clear distorted border and a band of clear distorted glass across the middle. Above and below are rows of square beveled glass, 13 in each. There are no cracks or breaks. The original oak frame is unpainted with an alligatored finish. It measures 40.25 inches wide by 16 tall and is. 2.25 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 36 by 12 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The frame has a couple cosmetic chips. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
