This Stained glass features a hand painted and kiln Fired FLOWER several firings are required to achieve the effects you see. I use a traditional old-world technique using glass stain powder that I mixed in different mediums -this style of painting images on glass is been around for centuries and will not come off or peel it is fired into the glass then I added some art glass colors around the focal point and lots of clear bevels, Using the Tiffany style technique for assembling the panel is framed in a sturdy zinc and its ready to hang, chain is included. During the Gothic period and the Renaissance (1100s-1500s) stained glass was one of the foremost techniques of painting practiced in Europe. Panel measures approximately ~ 16 3/8 X 12 3/8. Beveled glass creates beautiful sparkles of light. Slanted edges refract light into a rainbow of colors. Top-of-the-line art glass and premium bevels. Handcrafted by me in the USA.
