Window is heavy (leaded stained glass with clear glass) heavy wood frame is painted white with original hinges that opened on the side and eye hooks on the top (previously hung from inside a window in a different house we lived in). Window weighs almost 11 pounds and. Measures approximately 24 inches x 18 inches x 2 inches. It’s a beautiful item, we are downsizing and no longer using this pretty window in our home.

This Stained glass features a hand painted and kiln Fired sunflower several firings are required to achieve the effects you see (no image on the back side) I use a traditional old world technique using glass stain powder that I mixed in different mediums -this style of painting images on glass is been around for century’s and will not come of the or peel it is fired in to the glass then I added some art glass colors around the focal point and lots of clear bevels, Using the Tiffany style technique for assembling the panel is framed in a sturdy zinc and its ready to hang, chain is included. During the Gothic period and the Renaissance (1100s-1500s) stained glass was one of the foremost techniques of painting practiced in Europe. 16 3/8″ x 11 3/8″ (41x29cm). Hangs vertical or horizontal.
