ANTIQUE LEADED STAINED GLASS ARCH WINDOW, ORIGINAL FRAME, PITTSTON PA 1890s. Very cool arch style stained glass window in original frame. Architectural salvage from a renovation project at a Victorian home in Pittston PA, house was built around 1890. 32 3/16″ wide by 17 5/16″ tall, by 1 7/16 thick (framed). These measurements are CLOSE, not exact. Glass area only: 26.75″ by 12″. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! #6,7,8 show some issues with the frame. FRAME IS MORTISE AND TENON AND IS RELATIVELY SOLID, JUST HAS MINOR ISSUES. #9,10,11 show some examples of tight cracks. THERE WAS EPOXY APPLIED TO MOST OF THE CRACKS AT ONE TIME, CRACKS ARE NOT FALLING APART. THIS FRAMED ARCH WINDOW IS NOT PERFECT. IT WAS MADE IN THE 1890s. LARGE ANTIQUE STAINED LEADED GLASS WINDOW, PA MANSION SALVAGE 1890s. THIS WINDOW IS ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM A DEMOLITION PROJECT AT A WILKES BARRE PA MANSION. HOUSE IS LOCATED ON WYOMING STREET. HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1890. THIS WINDOW HAS SOME SIZE TO IT. 54 7/8″ WIDE BY 25 9/16″ TALL. GLASS ONLY AREA MEASUREMENTS. 22 3/8″ BY 50 1/8″. FRAME THICKNESS: 1.5. BOTTOM SILL 2 1/8. THERE ARE 4 SUPPORT BARS. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS. #7 shows the outside face. #8 shows the inside face. #9 shows MORTISE and TENON CONSTRUCTION. #10 shows a tiny bit of frame edge damage. IT WAS REMOVED BEFORE THE HOME WAS DEMOLISHED AND DRIVEN BACK HERE TO ILLINOIS IN 1990. IT HAS BEEN IN HEATED DRY STORAGE SINCE. The socket looks to have been “updated” to a. Porcelain type socket circa 1920s, and it still works well. New wiring has been installed. Lead glass window 1890’s Restored 26.5 X 18 X 18.5 inches. Wonderful window but unfortunately we can not use it as it is too small. We bought the set of windows and used two of them in new construction but unable to fit this window into our current home. It was restored by a Buffalo stained glass craft person who is now decreased. He thought the windows were very special with the bevel and crinkle glass. He died very suddenly so no written information. The window is not on a frame as so many are because the frame was broken and we were going to put in a window ourselves. Here we have an exceptionally beautiful, circa 1890’s era LEADED & JEWELED STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW that was recently acquired out of a Detroit Michigan area estate. It measures approximately 46 1/4 inches wide by 19 3/4 inches tall ” to the outside edge of the wood frame “. It has a little piece of glass broken in the corner and some hairline cracks. The colors are wonderful as well as the flower & urn design. Probably one of the nicest windows we have ever had. This would be wonderful above an entrance door or to simple hand in a window to enjoy. WE ARE RIGHT OFF OF EXIT 59 OF THE OHIO TURNPIKE AND VERY EASY TO FIND. Here we have an exceptionally nice and absolutely stunning, circa 1890’s era LEADED & BEVELED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW that was acquired out of an old Detroit Michigan estate. Those were some of the finest and most wealthiest homes in the United States. Every piece of glass is hand beveled ” even along all of the edges ” and it really reflects the light! . It measures approximately 43 7/8 inches wide by 18 1/8 inches tall ” to the outside edge of the original wood frame “. The condition is exceptionally nice with no chips, cracks or scratches. It is exceptionally well preserved and one the nicest windows we have ever had for sure. We are very easy to find, right off of exit 59 of the Ohio turnpike and close to interstates 75 & 23.
