Its medium size and gothic shape reflect the architectural grandeur of the time, making it a remarkable find for enthusiasts of historical artistry. The window showcases the craftsmanship of the Lancaster Victorian period, with each lead pane carefully shaped and fitted to create a stunning visual effect. As a piece that embodies the spirit of pre-1890 decor, it is an ideal choice for those who appreciate the beauty of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Arts & Crafts era designs. Its stained glass panels, vibrant and intact, offer a glimpse into the past, making it a valuable addition to any collection of architectural and garden antiques.
This is a great window that was salvaged from a Baltimore Victorian. It has great colors and design with the address 2731 in the middle. The original frame was stripped to bare wood on both sides. It measures 31.75 inches wide by 22 tall and is. 1.5 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 28 by 17.25 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. There are a couple pieces with tight hairlines but no missing glass. The glazing putty will need to be touched up. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
