ANTIQUE (POST 1850) STAINED LEADED GLASS ARCHED CHURCH WINDOW, SUMMIT HILL, PA. ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE FROM ST. MARK’s CHURCH, SUMMIT HILL PA. Summit hill is a neighboring city to Jim Thorpe, located in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania. These towns are relatively close to Allentown PA. 17 3/8″ wide, by about 55.75″ tall. Panel is about 1/4 thick. This church still exists today… Some windows were removed at one time, probably winterization reasons. Mark’s was built in 1850… But windows were added 10 or 20 years later. I SEE ZERO CRACKS ON THIS WINDOW PANEL, there may be one hidden, but I didn’t see ANY. THIS IS FOR SALE FOR YOU TO REPURPOSE. Antique Leaded 17 Lite Arched Dome Top Transom Window With Frame 16x61 215-18E

Very nice 17 lite wide antique arched top transom window, complete with its original frame. Some of the leaded mullions have separated at the joint where they meet the bottom arched mullion. The bottom arched pane is cracked and has a chip the rest of the glass is in good undamaged condition. It has old chipped and weathered white paint both sides with bare wood showing under. The wood frame shows normal wear, it is still solid with no rot or soft spots. Would look great over entry doors. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed. Overall – 60 1/2″wide x 16″tall x 5 3/4depth. Window w/out frame – 59 3/4″wide x 13 3/4″tall. Antique Stained Leaded Glass Church Arched. Antique Stained Leaded Glass Arch Window which measures. 17 13/16ths inches across. 31 1/4 inches high. 1 3/4 inches thick. This appears to be the type that slide outwards based upon the side indentation. I see small square nails & mortise & tenon construction and would estimate it to be mid 1800s. Vintage Early Century Arched Leaded STAINED GLASS WINDOW Arts & Crafts, Nouveau

With frame: 38.5″ wide 22″ high. Leaded glass: 34″ wide 18″ high. This one of a kind vintage arched stained glass window is set in a solid OAK frame, fastened in the back as shown in photographs 10 and 11. The style appears to be early century, perhaps c1920s, with the flavor of Craftsman, Art Deco or Art Nouveau. Absolutely gorgeous, high quality glass. There are two fasteners in the frame at the top, with an attached chain, so this ornate classic can be hung in your window or set on the sill. Years ago we custom built a home in the woods of the Northwest, and I was able to locate windows such as this and actually incorporate them as windows in the home. When we decided to sell, even with interest rates high at the time, this home was on the market for about 2 days! Once having said this, it is an old window, so please do not expect perfection. Arched Leaded Glass Casement Windows 62×36. Absolutely amazing arts & crafts /tutor style windows built in 1901 by a famous architect Joseph Cather Newsom prolific designer and builder of late-C19. At the beginning (1878) he was building in the Eastlake or Stick style, then they turned to Colonial Queen Anne, boarded gables, gouty colonnettes and extreme ornamentation in what can only be described as an exuberant free style. Then a flirtation with the Colonial Revival or Shingle style, the château style, the Georgian Colonial Revival, and Beaux-Arts Classicism. Later he turned to regional Mission Revival (based on Spanish Colonial architecture) and around 1900 to the Arts-and-Crafts style. Whatever style used, it was never guilty of restrain.
