Large Antique Stained Leaded Glass Window, Brooklyn Brownstone 1910 Wreath Bows
LARGE ANTIQUE STAINED LEADED GLASS WINDOW, BROOKLYN BROWNSTONE 1910 WREATH BOWS. Tremendous piece of architectural salvage.. This is a very large transom window recently removed from a BROOKLYN NY brownstone. Building is believed to have been built around 1910. 17 3/4″ tall by about 75″ wide. FRAME IS 1 3/8 thick. GLASS AREA ONLY MEASUREMENTS. About 14″ tall by about 72″ wide. THERE IS 1 RED HANDCUT JEWEL. THERE ARE NOT MANY HAIRLINE CRACKS. One was leaded over at one time. Photo# 4 shows the border hairline crack that was leaded over. Photos# 5,6 show examples of tight cracks. I took photos of the hairlines I see. THE LEFT AND RIGHT PILLARS OF THE FRAME ARE NOT 100% SQUARE… This window was removed using a reciprocating saw. I will NOT allow any of the big commercial shippers handle this. This needs to be handled and delivered by white glove door to door guys. They are more reasonable priced than you would imagine.
