Antique Tiffany Inspired Leaded Stained Glass Lamp Handel Chicago Brothers Style

This is a wonderful and beautiful Leaded Glass Lamp of large proportions and heavy. The lamp is unmarked and very well made after Tiffany’s Rose Helmet shade design shape, this one using flowers and gems. The lamp stands almost 27 inches tall on its 10 inch base. The sculpted column is in a great patinated bronze condition and weighs 15 pounds. The magnificent shade has about 1,000 pieces of glass and gems in it and is 21 inches in diameter and 7 1/2 inches tall and well made both inside and outside. The shape of the shade is an iconic Tiffany Rose Helmet shape that was prevalent on his Roman shade design with the outward flare at the bottom edge as the leafy portion of the design comes into view. The shade has very pleasing color differences between the lighted shade and the unlit shade. Check out the photos. The Shade weighs in at about 9 pounds for a total lamp weight of some 24 pounds. The opening in the top of the shade is about 4 inches and fits on its 4 inch support on the base. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. The interiors of the sockets have been replaced using the original shells so they work fine. Just a great looking beautiful stained glass Tiffany style lamp for your home. C 1908 Colonial Art Glass co. Leaded gold glass Lamp just shimmers perfect Geometric fish scale Lamp. Leading is tight and right with all those tiles and over 100 years 3 one line heat cracks you’ll never notice wear and tear is a must with leaded glass shades unless you prefer repairs. I prefer real glass as long as it’s not spread like a spider web. Mainly there are few examples of real Colonial Art glass lamps are hard to find or document. 2 examples one grape the other floral no examples of geometric lamps. Note the catalog photo part of “colonial” shows upper rt corner. A slightly different base but for sure same shade cap & finial. Rare to find catalogs too i’m sure. Here is one to add. Stands 23″ tall foot 9″ wide shade is 17″x7″. 3 old pull chain sockets interiors are new for safety saving original cases & chains. Wired with gold cloth style cord & vintage plug working great ready to set up and display in your home. How do you Identify a lamp unsigned? Most all companies used identifiable hardware. Base the same wonderful original condition. Cap finial wheel all Williamson Parts. Re wired with twisted black cloth cord & vintage plug all ready to use at once! What I know of it, it had to be a family Pass Down to stay in this pristine condition. I’ve heard it called “the OWL” does appear to be a stylized owl face with eye jewels. For sure reflects the baroque tastes of the early 1900’s. Looks like the Tic Toc of Oz. From the book series Frank L. This is a great example of the Williamson Co. Stands 25″ tall 8″ wide foot. Antique Chicago Mosaic Stained and Leaded Glass Table Lamp Circa 1920 USA. Table lamp attributed to the Chicago Mosaic Lamp Company. This lamp features a beautiful and unique bow and flower themed shade with brown and white glass field and green accent tiles. The shade rests upon an art nouveau patinated bronze base with matching finial. The shade and base have been together since the 1930’s, owned by one family and passed on through generations. The lamp was re-wired in 2011 and is in good, safe usable condition. No losses or damage to the glass or base, only a few minor stress cracks as is expected due to its age. Approximately 25 inches tall, shade is 18 inches wide. The lamp will be professionally packed and boxed via The UPS Store.
