Style English Leaded Stained-Glass Window from England that has been reframed. The frame is unfinished pine. It can be painted, stained, sealed or just left alone to weather naturally. Please Read This Carefully. We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass, especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It’s not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it’s desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a “crack” is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to “feel” the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it’s simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt on BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can’t crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. The window has a pretty Blue Triangle with an unusual Blue/Cream Swirl & Two (2) types of Amber glass with Three (3) types of textured white glass in the background. There are No Cracks in the glass of this window. The last two pictures are of the backside of this window. The window is about 16 1/4″ wide and about 16 3/8″ tall overall. The glass in window is about 12 1/2″ X 13″. Check Out My Feedbacks!! Please check out my other auctions on some more real nice Antique Furniture pieces and Antique accessories for your home. This window was one of a pair that probably were on either side of a fire place or a large bookcase. They swung open on hinges attached to the side of the window(they did not go up and down). The arrows with included bevels give it a strong Deco look. The four bevels in each corner add to the presentation. The glass size is 24″ wide and 18″ tall with the frame size 28″ wide and 23″ tall. The window is very tight and has no breaks.
