Antique Mission Style Bookcase. Presented for your consideration is this gorgeous antique bookcase (or cabinet). It is a mission style cabinet constructed of dark oak with two large leaded, beveled glass doors on the front. The top of the doors have the glass arranged in a diamond design and along the bottom they are arranged in squares. Long pieces of glass connect the two patterns. The doors are finished with brass, strap hinges. One of the doors has a small knob to open the door. Both doors open and close easily. The bottom of the cabinet has small castors making it easy to move. The inside of the cabinet has three shelves which sit sturdy in place. There is lots of room on the inside to store books or display pottery, small antiques/collectibles, plates, dishes, entertainment items, etc. The uses for this cabinet are simply endless! The cabinet dates to 1910 and is guaranteed to be antique. This beautiful cabinet would make a great addition to any antique furniture collection! Would look great in a period home! There is a small surface split in the top left side. Two stains are on the top of the cabinet. A small piece of the trim is missing on the right hand side of the top interior shelf. No chips or cracks in the glass. General light wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details!
