ANTIQUE CHURCH STAINED GLASS WINDOW FRAGMENT, BAPTISM OF CHRIST BY JOHN THE BAPTIST, FROM THE 1950’s, INTERESTING TEXTURES TO GLASS AND GREAT COLORS, BEAUTIFUL WINDOW WITH A RECYCLED OAK PEW WOOD FRAME, READY TO DISPLAY. Age – mid 20th century, 1957. Size approximately – 37 1/4″H x 30″W x 2 thick frame. Condition – in good used condition overall, one lower leg piece with about 4 lines – see last photo, some damage is normal for older stained glass windows. ANTIQUE LEADED STAINED GLASS ARCH WINDOW, ORIGINAL FRAME, PITTSTON PA 1890s. Very cool arch style stained glass window in original frame. Architectural salvage from a renovation project at a Victorian home in Pittston PA, house was built around 1890. 20.5″ wide by 17″ tall, by 1.5 thick (framed). These measurements are CLOSE, not exact. Glass area only: 15 3/8″ by 11.75″. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! #8 shows close-up of a crack, this crack can be felt with a fingernail on one side only. (could possibly be a defect in the antique glass) there may be another crack or two that were leaded over at one time. #9/10 shows original frame construction. ANTIQUE 10 ft STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOW ORIGINAL FRAME 1850 history included. Very tall, stained glass church window. LOCATION IS NEAR JIM THORPE PA. Church was built in 1850, so the windows were most likely added shortly after. 120.25″ tall, by about 20.5″ wide, by. Window is encased in its ORIGINAL FRAMING. Frame is MORTISE and TENON CONSTRUCTION. One glass diamond shaped tile looks to have been replaced at one time. Photo#6 shows a couple of tight cracks near the middle of the window. They aren’t loose or falling apart at all. Photo#11 shows a reference in a book, describing the story of the church this came from. THERE IS A MEMORIAL INSCRIPTION AT THE BOTTOM… I CANT READ IT. IT’S VERY FADED. THE MEMORIAL IS REMOVABLE, THE PLAQUE IS A SEPARATE PIECE OF GLASS, LAYERED ON TOP OF THE ORIGINAL WINDOW. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST! Absolutely Gorgeous Old Transom Window Frame with White Distressed Paint Trim and Beautiful Clear Leaded Stained Glass. Wood frame is original and isn’t in the best shape, but it’s a beautiful display-piece for a shabby chic/county/farmhouse-look. Has been hung on a wall over my bed in a clean, non-smoking/no pet home out of direct sunlight. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional pics. These measurements are CLOSE, not exact. Glass area only: 15″ by 11.5″ wide/tall. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! #6 shows mortise and tenon frame construction. #6 also shows a bit of damage to the frame. #7 shows some light gouges on frame. #8 shows the bottom… This is the spot that contractor cut it off.
