Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. I have for sale this very nice bradley and hubbard lamp base along with a contemporary leaded shade. The shade measuring in at 16 inches wide and the base 21.5 inches tall. Both shade and base without issue which means for the base no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. The base has been recently rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord and plug along with two good working sockets. There is a ding in the lower portion of the base and i photographed it so take a look. Nothing horrible for a 100 year old base and really doesnt detract from the overall appearance but i wanted to mention it anyways. The shade in very good condition as well, with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The glass in mottled or spotted form and is superb when lit. The leading throughout tight and right, and the patina nice as well. The glass of great quality and this lights up way way better than my photos are showing. The socket cluster with all period sockets in matching patina and fine working order, and its been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord and old style plug. The patina in very nice original form throughout. The metalware condition is excellent as there is not cracks, break, or losses to speak of. This is a very heavy and well made Handel base for sure. The base signed properly in the lower corner of the very bottom, please see photo. The base also comes with its original cap and finial. It doesnt get much better than that folks. The glass in this shade is pretty nice as you can see in the photos and i only used two 7 watt bulbs for the photos and look how vibrant the colors are. This is a full sized lamp in that its measuring 21 inches tall and the shade being 18 inches wide. The base is properly signed Bradley and Hubbard underneath the base plate and its in very nice original chocolate brown patina with all three period sockets matching one another and in fine working order. There is no damage at all to the very heavy and well made base. As for the shade that is also in very nice overall condition. Nice quality glass and as you can see it lights up very very nicely. A stray tight age crack here or there, but certainly nothing to be alarmed about as they are very tight and not going anywhere for another 100 years. I see maybe 3-4 thats all. All the leading tight and right and a very nice geometric arts and crafts pattern in the top part of the shade with a stylized flowers and green leaves in the lower part of the shade 360 degrees around the border. All in all a very nice arts and crafts style lamp, by one of the best makers there ever was and in very nice overall condition. You cant beat that. I have for sale without reserve this very nice arts and crafts style signed periwinkle Handel leaded lamp. The tree trunk base is one of handels most desired bases they ever made and you can see why. The base measures 25 inches tall and the shade is 20 inches wide, so this is a large full sized lamp folks. Most of these periwinkles come in 16 inch shades, not the larger and more desirable 20 inch sizes like this one. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. The patina excellent throughout the base and the base also retains it original hubbell sockets and acorn pulls that work flawlessly. The base alone is a 1,000.00 very desirable base tree form base. The shade also in original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. A few stray tight age cracks, 2-3 or so, here or there as would be expected for a leaded shade such as, especially with the shade having several hundred pieces in the making process such as this. The glass vibrant and alive as the pictures show and all the leading intact. Excellent original patina on the leading throughout as well, please see photos. The shade signed on the inside, please see photo, and the base also signed with original felt cloth bottom and cloth Handel tag. By the way, I only used 7 watt bulbs to give you some idea how good the glass lights up. Simply a great period handel lamp in excellent overall condition. This Bradley and Hubbard beanpot base i s the most sought after b and h base there is and (SHADE IS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT FOR SALE) measures 22.5 inches tall, with the base being without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has a two socket socket cluster and The patina nicely aged throughout with only minor blemishes here or there but very minor in that respect and to be expected for a 100 year old base. The base signed on the top with the B&H triangle stamp. Please notice the three mounting pieces consisting of the shade rest, the cap, and the finial. The base has been recently rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord, sockets and old style plug and has the B&H triangle stamp at the top by the two-socket cluster. Very Fine Geometric Art Deco Bradley & Hubbard Leaded lamp. Stands 23″ tall 7″ foot. Shade is 18″ x 7″. 2 Bryant satellite chain sockets. Rewired with newer cord at some point. No fractures tight and right leading. Nice warm art glass used in making this shade. Caramel glass lights up warm just beautiful! The Art Deco Border is one of the best I’ve seen. A fantastic Arts & Crafts Bradley & Hubbard leaded glass base in Celtic/McIntosh Rose. Signed on the bottom as photoed. A great heavy piece that has good lines and the original green patina. It is tall in height and would accept a large shade; no plate on top, opening is 2 1/4. There are 4 marked Hubbell sockets with an acorn finial on the pull chains. One chain is missing; one is short and missing acorn finial. The bottom detail features the Celtic/McIntosh Rose. Good condition with some wear to the bottom and some corrosion on the bottom portion of the base. The dimensions are 9″ x 24 1/2″T. Please give us a call with any questions. If you want to keep the item and have it repaired, an estimate of repair cost will be required. Please keep all packaging until any damage inspection is complete.
