Antique Stained Beveled Jeweled Glass Transom Window 44 X 20 Salvage

This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Illinois Victorian home. The border is clear and the background is clear distorted in a variety of textures and patterns. There are lots of beveled pieces throughout and 20 clear facet cut jewels. There are no cracks or breaks. The original frame is painted on both sides. It measures 44 inches wide by 20 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 40.25 by 16 inches. Overall, it is good co ndition. Light scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The glazing putty will need to be filled in. One corner of the frame has some deterioration but it is stable. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! ANTIQUE STAINED BEVELED JEWELED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW 45 1/2 X 20 SALVAGE. Beautiful colors of blue, purple, lavender, clear, and orange. The window is lit with a battery powered LED light strip that can be removed. The wood around the window is a chocolate colored stain. There is a tiny hole thats pictured in photo 11. 10.5′ MONUMENTAL JEWELED ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS PORTRAIT WINDOW NY ESTATE # 1. And this one is better in my opinion. This is one special window! Size Framed : 4′ 9″ x 10′ 7″. Yes, it is that large and takes 4 people to move. The window is full of color, garlands and jewels. Encased in a wonderful Victorian carved frame. Brought back from New York several years ago. Has been a great showroom item, but now the time has come to make some decor changes. Protected under plexi-glass for 70 years. Minor edge bowing with a few small cracks mostly confined to the small border sections. Overall, very good condition for a 120 year old window. The enameled glass was probably exported from Italy and the stain glass executed in New York. Wear is consistent with age. Check out our 3500 sq. Showroom in Cincinnati 45226 near EBTH. Here we have an exceptionally beautiful, circa 1890’s era LEADED & JEWELED STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW that was recently acquired out of a Detroit Michigan area estate. It measures approximately 46 1/4 inches wide by 19 3/4 inches tall ” to the outside edge of the wood frame “. It has a little piece of glass broken in the corner and some hairline cracks. The colors are wonderful as well as the flower & urn design. Probably one of the nicest windows we have ever had. Shade is in good condition with only 3-4 tiles with heat cracks, all tight. Base is classic Unique trumpet style base with shade wheel and stands 23 tall. Look closely to its glass and construction…. Very few artisans around that could roll glass like the maker of this window. BY RIGHTS THIS SHOULD BRING top dollar… If you know stained & leaded glass you would see this is from one of the top 3 studios in existence It is a most beautiful Window and It measures 26.25″ by 17.5″ just the glass. The window has not been cleaned or else you could really value the beauty of its pastel colors which are striated light with darker blues ring mottle glass and pastel pinks surrounding its jeweled glass and Carbochons the tanish jewels. The bulk of the glass on the borders or outside of the opalescent panel are light and darker bluish ring mottle glass. The Jewels and its Caramel Cabochons have different colors when the light is not hitting them directly. The center panel is a beautiful piece of Opalescent Ring Mottle Glass having both pastel blue and Yellowish casts. I guess that only comes with experience. Certainly not any any 10 page booklet that I ran across on the internet He calls this Comic book Tiffany fakes on whats real and not real Tiffany glass Whoever this moron is AND TRUST ME he is A total AMATEUR I get newbees that mention this fun time booklet for the writer Mr????? Each window measures 32″ wide by 17 3/4″ tall and the glass only is 28″ by 14″. Both windows have 6 pieces of glass with cracks mostly in the light blue glass (see pictures).
