Very nice antique church kite for repurpose. This was removed from a church demolition in Wilmington DE. Exact address of church is unavailable. Glass area only measurements. 23″ by 40.5″. Frame is about 1 3/4 thick. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF TIGHT CRACKS. Photos 4 and 5 show a couple examples. WINDOW IS VERY STRONG. WINDOW HAS 1 SUPPORT BAR. FRAME WOOD IS RELATIVELY SOLID.. These transom pieces were usually over a door or across the top of a large window. It dates from the 1920’s & 30’s. The sizes are 22.75″ x 12.5″ Glass & 24.25″ x 14.25″ overall including the frame. The colors are Red, Green and two shades of Gold. The obscurity of the background glass is Heavily Obscured. The original frame could not be saved, so this window has been reframed in a new frame. This window was one of a pair that probably were on either side of a fire place or a large bookcase. They swung open on hinges attached to the side of the window(they did not go up and down). The arrows with included bevels give it a strong Deco look. The four bevels in each corner add to the presentation. The glass size is 24″ wide and 18″ tall with the frame size 28″ wide and 23″ tall. The window is very tight and has no breaks.
