These came out of my sisters china cabinet, can be inserted into a custom piece or used for decoration/ other projects. Amazing condition with no cracks or breaks. This old Stained Glass window is from an English home. These pieces were usually at the side of a door or a landing window, or sometimes just a larger than usual top window. Dating from the 1920’s & 30’s The sizes are 24.75″ x 17.75″ Glass & 26.75″ x 19.75″ overall including the frame. The colors are 2 shades of purple, 2 shades of mauve, 2 shades of green, gold, light yellow & beige. The obscurity of the background glass is light to moderate. The glass is in perfect condition, with no cracks or breaks. The original frame could not be saved, so this window has been reframed in a new painted frame. P-345 Nice Larger English Rose Stained Glass Window Reframed 28 1/2 X 19 1/2

The frame is made out of either Pine or Whitewood and has been left unfinished by the shipper. It can be painted, stained , sealed or just left to weather out… Please Read This Carefully. We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass, especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It’s not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it’s desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a “crack” is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to “feel” the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it’s simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can’t crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. On some of the reframed windows, the shipper has repaired some of the lead work around the ends or borders or edges. There may be some “new solder” on the end joints or edges. The window has a pretty Red Rose along a Green Border across the top with Pale Amber, Three (3) types of Green on the Leaves and a type of White textured glass. There Are No Cracks In The Glass Of This Window. The glass size is about 25 1/4″ wide and about 16″ tall. Check Out My Feedbacks!! Most of the glass is heavily obscure. The glass is in great shape with no cracks or breaks Unfortunately the original frame did not survive.
