Stained glass window with great variation of colors of greens, pinks, orange/yellows, purple, and white slag glass. All glass is intact with solid and secured leading with no bowing. Frame is 2 thick wood in good condition with some paint drippings and discoloration, scratches and marks to aged wood sash. There are 3 panes that I have found with cracks, the most prominent one is as pictured. The others are not noticeable but they are there. The window has been cleaned repeatedly but there is soiled areas in the ripples of the green slag. Frame lookes like it has small legs and sets well. See pictures and ask questions please. Beautiful piece of art to add to any home.

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!

This piece is said to have come from a home built in 1880 in Temple, Texas, though I have no proof of its origin. It’s definitely an antique and arrived in terrible condition (see the last images). The glass is stunning, and after carefully dismantling the panel, I restored it to closely match the original design, with a few adjustments. It has been fully restored, leaded, and puttied, with a solid and sturdy zinc frame added. The dimensions are 23 3/8″ wide by 37 7/8″ tall.
