VTG Steel 16 Lite Leaded Stained-Glass 20x37 Tutor Casement Window Old 1359-24B

Very cool vintage English Tudor steel 16 lite leaded glass casement window with storm window. The window has a 15 lite look. The window swings out to the right. The steel frame has old chipped and flaking black paint on both sides with surface rust. The window has 16 individual panes of glass with a single small green stained-glass pane. Some panes have green & blue Huge. The window glass is missing 1 pane of glass, and 1 pane is cracked as shown. The glazing is crumbling loose and will need be re glazed. This window has a nice outside removable storm window with lift off hinges. The storm window functions as it should. The leaded seams are complete. The window has a nice decorative curved brass handle with brass operator. The casement will need a detailed cleaning as there is some glazing on the mounting edges. Overall, good, salvaged condition. Please look over the pictures and ask any questions if needed. Overall: 20 1/4″ wide x 36 3/4″ tall x 1 1/2″ thick x 2 1/4″ thick with storm x 5 depth at hinges. Rough in 20 1/4″ wide x 36 3/4″ tall x 1 1/2 thick. Opening sash: 19 1/4″ wide x 35 3/4″ tall x 1 1/4 thick. Pane face size: 4 7/8″ wide x 5 7/8″ tall. Storm window: 17 1/2″ wide x 33 3/4″ tall x 3/4 thick.

Please Read This Carefully. We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass, especially glass made into sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It’s not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it’s desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a “crack” is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to “feel” the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it’s simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt on BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can’t crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. The window has pretty Red, Two (2) Greens, Burgandy, Amber and two (2) Types of Textured White glass. There are no cracks in the glass of this. 1850’s Antique Amber/Clear Leaded Stained Glass Wood Framed Transom Window. The glass on the window is textured on one side and smooth on the other. The pane colors are light amber-yellow and clear, and they look so stunning when the light shines through. The window frame is structurally sound and has old white paint on one side and a dark stain paint on the other side. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. We have four (4) and these windows from the same antique estate and they. They were installed above four interior bedroom doors which had great sunlight shining through them all day to reflect the beauty of the glass. The frames still have the hinges attached. Each transom is numbered with measurements. #1 – 29-7/8″ x 14″ x 1. #2 – 31-3/4″ x 13-7/8″ x 1. #3 – 31-3/4″ x 14″ x 1. #4 – 31-7/8″ x 13-7/8″ x 1.
