Don’t Miss this rare opportunity to own an outstanding example of a Signed Tiffany Studios New York Religious Church Stained Glass Window depicting Boy Christ in the Temple dated 1917. The Finding in the Temple, also called “Christ among the Doctors” or the Disputation (the usual names in art), was an episode in the early life of Jesus depicted in chapter 2 of the Gospel of Luke. It is the only event of the later childhood of Jesus mentioned in a gospel. The episode is described in Luke 2:41-52. Jesus at the age of twelve accompanies Mary and Joseph, and a large group of their relatives and friends to Jerusalem on pilgrimage, “according to the custom” that is, Passover. On the day of their return, Jesus “lingered” in the Temple, but Mary and Joseph thought that he was among their group. Mary and Joseph headed back home and after a day of travel. He was found in The Temple in discussion with the elders. They were amazed at his learning, especially given his young age. When admonished by Mary, Jesus replied: How is it that you sought me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house? This window was fully restored within the last 20 years by a very reputable studio within this field and the pictures reflect the excellent condition of the window which is over 100 years old, and features some of Tiffany Studios finest techniques of glass use and design. Each of the 2 arched lancets measure 20″ wide x 96″ tall and the round top panel adds approximately another 16 to the height. C 1910 Gorham Leaded geometric glass lamp. Very intricate details in this lamp! LOOK at the details in the design, notice the pencil thin lead lines still tight and sturdy. Gorham can’t be beat with the lead lines in most of their lamp shades. All the glass is pastels very rare use of pastel glass. One hairline pictured tight in place. Base is cast bronze. Tree style base with maple leaves on the ground (foot) of base. This is one sweet lamp and worth every dime you’ll pay to own it. Stands 21″ tall 7.25″ foot. C 1912 Wilkinson leaded lamp What wonderful art glass they used making this shade. Shade is solid without smashed glass. Still tight in the leading someone took great care for this lamp for many years! Very old home estate find! And what a find it is! Shade is 18″ wide 8″ deep. Base amazing chocolate brown patina covers entire base top to bottom one of the BEST bases Wilkinson made. Stands 24″ tall 9″ wide foot. Antique Large Duffner Kimberly Leaded Glass Lamp, with hard to find signed Duffner Kimberly Base. Lamp is in great condition. Leaded Glass shade puts off a nice warm glow and glass in shade is amazing as Duffner Kimberly used some of the best glass. Found 1 panel with cracks in glass. No loose or missing glass. Duffner shade fits perfectly on base, as it should. All sockets and pull chains are in proper smooth working order. Base has beautiful original finish with matching heart cap in same original finish. Huge & Beautiful Handel signed shade leaded glass lamp. Stands 25″ tall 8″ wide foot. Shade is 20″ x 8″. May have a hairline but none I can find excellent condition overall for a 100 year old lamp shade. Sits on A Handel Teepee top. Large base to fit the 20 shade well. 3 Hubbell acorn pull chain sockets all working well insides may have been updated for safety retaining original shells & chains. Wired with twisted cloth cord & vintage plug. One sweet lamp to have in a front window of a home! Really shows well, LOOK at the 2nd photo that is with NO LIGHTS ON! Just Sunlight from my window. They used a lot of Kokomo glass, notice!!! All the border leaves are 3 different types, granite back, plain and some are Mottled glass really gives this shade a great look an you will enjoy all that green in your home soon!! Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. I have for sale this incredible duffner and kimberly leaded. What a fantastic design and what great color. Its in excellent original condition and it measures 15 inches tall by 26 inches wide. It has a great 6 socket cluster as you can see from the photos and its in fine working order. The leading all tight and right and i see no repairs. Its got a couple of tight age/heat stress’s in the glass which is appropriate for its age. Great patina on the hardware as well. This is a great lamp folks and very very seldom seen and then you add in the savings of not having to pay a large buyers premium on top and it makes it a must have lol. When was the last time you saw a Duffner and Kimberly. Please Check out my other items! Some great Bradley and Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. Etc & other quality makers.
