Antique Stained Glass Style Window Door Panel Gather Ye Rosebuds Framed Art

We have a beautiful, colorful and unusual antique stained glass style window or door panel. This is a great stand alone piece and has vintage backlighting, as shown in photographs, (I would highly advise checking these for saftey because of the age the fixtures). Includes metal chains shown that were used for hanging purposes. Beautiful subject matter of a young woman holding a rose and the message below Gather Ye Rosebuds. This is a reference to the Robert Herrick poem published in 1647. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, Old Time is still a-flying; And this same flower that smiles today, Tomorrow will be dying. This panel is created with an unusual process. This is silk screen printed on glass. The texture is either hand painted or a pressed glass design. The entire image is sandwiched between flat glass panels. This is not conventional stained glass. There is no lead and separate panes. It is an old piece though. Probably 1950’s based on the age of the oak panel. This panel measures 15″ wide x 31″ tall. With the frame it is 21″ x 38″. This is a very nice vintage item that would add a beautiful Victorian detail to any home. Place this in a window to add a splash of color to a room. Prairie/craftsman Style Stained Glass Window

Simplistic beauty and premium art glass in this prairie/craftsman style stained glass window. Hand made in our studio, window is constructed in 1/2″ zinc frame, 3/16″ lead came, are grouted, polished and finished with a dark gray patina. Outside zinc frame has an uneven gray/black finish for a vintage look. Design is geometric with wispy opalescent green/blue borders at the top and bottom, the center strips are a wispy amber/blue/green granite iridescent (the surface color looks blue without light and more green with direct light) flanked by honey opal strips on either side, white accent squares and clear seedy background. As much as we try to photograph as clearly and honestly as possible; direct light, indirect light and outdoors to show surface colors and leading- please consider your particular lighting situation as for how the glass will look. There are a pair of these- they are made of the same glass but due to the swirls and colors in the center strips, one may have more blue, green or amber than the other. Vintage deco style stain glass window 34 inches x 31 inches. This piece is unique and unusual. It has 56 circles on it that are red, blue, orange, green, yellow, purple. The strange thing is it appears as if these colors were poured into the leaded formed circles. The right side of the panel has 4 cut out pieces in the lead. Please note the pictures. This is a great piece that was salvaged from a New Jersey Home. It has great colors and a wonderful Arts and Crafts design. The original frame is painted on the outside. It measures 28.25 inches wide by 28.75. And 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is appx. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Several pieces of glass have tight hairlines and one has a BB hole. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Hand made of premium art glass in our studio, window is constructed in 1/2″ zinc frame, 3/16″ lead came, is grouted, polished and finished with a gray patina. Architect inspired design, center sumac is in dark amber granite with multi color squares extending down, vertical strips on either side are caramel slag with red accent squares, outer border is wispy honey opalescent, double inside border is a wispy green, blue, honey opalescent and background glass is clear seedy. Glass is in perfect condition. As much as we try to photograph as clearly and honestly as possible; direct light, indirect light and outdoors to show surface colors, leading and frame- please consider your particular lighting situation as for how the glass will look. Frame is oak with a medium brown finish. NOTE- if you are purchasing both windows, please see close up photos of frames and note that one frame has dark blemish spot at the bottom. A large and wonderfully detailed chandelier with five lights and a fancy ornate gilt frame. Dressed in traditionally pinned full lead crystal garlands from top glass dish to arms and more swagged from arm to arm so plenty of rainbow prisms to bounce around the room of your choice! There are lovely vintage kite shaped drops around the outside bobeche, sweet icicle shaped drops around the inside middle and beautifully finished to the bottom with a lovely leaded facet cut crystal ball. This is a large light and its gilded frame is a beautiful colour having been lightly cleaned to remove the blemishes and it is not polished.
