The frame is made out of either Pine or Whitewood. It can be painted, stained, sealed or just left alone to weather out. Please Read This Carefully. We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass, especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It’s not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it’s desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a “crack” is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to “feel” the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it’s simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can’t crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. On some of the reframed windows, the shipper has repaired some of the lead work around the ends or borders or edges. There may be some “new solder” on the end joints or edges. They haven’t repaired or bothered any of the glass. The window has pretty Pale Amber along with regular Amber, Pale Green with Three (3) other Types of Green, Two Types Of Reds, Blue -Green Turquoise, Purple-Green-Blue Swirl and type of textured White/Clear glass along with Clear Glass. There is a Small Crack in One Of The Green Glasses in this window, see picture below. The window is about 18 3/8″ wide and about 54 1/4″ tall overall. The glass size is about 12 1/2″ wide and about 50 1/2″ tall. Can’t you just see this window mounted into an interior door? What a door for a Pantry this one would make! Check Out My Feedbacks!!
