These larger pieces were usually at the side of a door or a landing window. & dates from the 1920’s & 30’s The sizes are 39 1/2″ x 9″ Glass & 41 1/2″ x 10 3/4″ overall including the frame. The diamond colors are gold The obscurity of the background glass is clear The original frame could not be saved so this window has been reframed in a new frame. Antique Restored Fired Stained Wavy Glass Window, Bronx Ny Orphanage 1902
These handpainted kiln fired glass tiles were originally in a huge orphanage in New York City. I was told the orphanage was located in the Bronx, believed to have been. ROMAN CATHOLIC ORPHAN ASYLUM. Dates to around 1902. THE GLASS IS CRAZY WAVY AND BUBBLY. THIS PANEL HAS BEEN FULLY RESTORED. GLASS CLEANED AND WAXED. INTERIOR LEAD CLEANED /REFRESHED. EXTERIOR: ZINC APPLIED TO TOP/BOTTOM. Beautiful Antique Victorian Chicago-Stained Leaded Glass Window Circa 1890 This double hung window measures approximately 84″ x 28″. Each one has some damage the bottom one has 5 cracked pieces the upper one has approximately 20 some taped and missing pieces. The 2 together could be used as a transom window. These windows are about 135 years old and were removed for a Chicago home that was unfortunately being torn down. This is a beautiful antique stained glass window that has dark amber in the center and light amber on the outside. This window is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
