The shade measures 14 1/2 wide and 5 1/2 inches high. This is not a copy made somewhere recently, in a factory overseas, where hot glass was poured into a mold. Look at those beautiful tulips, so popular in the 20s. In my opinion, this fine shade may have originally graced an antique standing lamp, or floor lamp, but could also be used as a hanging lamp, or part of a desk lamp. I have not been able to locate any cracks in the glass, or damage to the lead work. It is sturdy and solid. Please consider that this is an antique… By its very nature of being old it is not “dead mint” or perfect. The lamp has been re-electrified, and the socket is not original. My wife and I discovered this fine example in an antique store in Paradise California. You might say we rescued this lamp in a way, as we took it home with us shortly before the “Camp Fire” that unfortunately devastated most of that beautiful area. Based on my experience I’ll share with you some things I think are important to know. First and foremost, this lamp is HUGE. It measures 25 1/2 wide and 16 inches high. It incorporates an estimated 500 pieces of glass. This is not a copy made somewhere recently in a factory overseas where hot glass was poured into a mold. Look at those beautiful tulips, so popular in the 20s. I have been able to find one small hairline shown in the second photograph and what appears to be a small repair shown in the last. You may find other imperfections. Please consider that this is an antique… By its very nature of being old it is not “dead mint” or perfect. The lamp has been re-electrified, and the socket is not original. If you love antiques, this lamp can bring you the experience of beauty and enjoyment typical of what I believe to be a fine work of art. Includes 14 feet of chain with electrical wiring (not old) previously used in hanging the lamp. Antique Arts & Crafts / Mission Oak Leaded Glass Hall Tree Seat with Heart Cut Outs LA Area. We are proud to offer an extremely nice estate furniture. It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. It is a perfect estate piece to gift or wonderful to start or add to your collection. Beautiful & very unusual arts & crafts oak hall seat. So unusual it may have been a custom made item originally. Nice leaded glass panels on the side with unusual textures and bowed pieces. Extremely different with the areas on the back sides for hanging coats and cane or umbrella holders. The front even has hearts cut out in the top. Probably on the earlier side of arts and crafts era since it has some earlier elements. It is the original finish. Has some variation of colors on the finish and the seat shows some darker marks please see photos. The leaded glass on one side has 3 cracks but seems secure in the piece again please see the photos. Typical aging such as some wood shrinkage and worm holes. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. There are reflections in the photographs. A fantastic Arts & Crafts Bradley & Hubbard leaded glass base in Celtic/McIntosh Rose. Signed on the bottom as photoed. A great heavy piece that has good lines and the original green patina. It is tall in height and would accept a large shade; no plate on top, opening is 2 1/4. There are 4 marked Hubbell sockets with an acorn finial on the pull chains. One chain is missing; one is short and missing acorn finial. The bottom detail features the Celtic/McIntosh Rose. Good condition with some wear to the bottom and some corrosion on the bottom portion of the base. The dimensions are 9″ x 24 1/2″T. Please give us a call with any questions. Simply amazing arts and crafts leaded art glass. These windows/cabinet doors truly do capture the arts and crafts movement this is the first time I have ever come across windows like this I have a feeling they were done by a famous architect but I was unable to find any history on the home before it came down he’s windows for used inside the main dining room and we’re on a grand built-in cabinet that was on able to be salvaged they measure in at 22-1/2×21 they are overall in good condition I have noticed where the leaded glass is starting to borrow a little bit from time in one of the windows there does appear to be a few repairs in the lead and two or three hairline cracks all details included in pics. The other one looks in better condition with no cracks I truly know these are extremely rare Windows as for an all of our years of salvage we have never yet once come across these.
