Specific Features indicate this antique leaded glass lamp an art nouveau project was made by a very skilled quality lamp company. Special features noted below indicate this lamp was prepared in advanced by skilled maker using techniques to produce a very high quality leaded floral design in many aspects were competing with their most competitive lamp company Tiffany Studios leaded lamps production was meant to attract wealthy patrons. This unknown lamp maker to myself had specific features unlike other companies of the time wanted this affluent draw so had to improve their lamp making skills. Specific Features added to this complex realistic art nouveau design of a flower garden brought indoors into patrons living rooms: My teacher/mentor cut glass to make leaded glass lamps of highest quality as she worked with Jim Schlitz of Schlitz Studios in Milwaukee in the 1990’s – She teaches me how quality lamps were first planned ahead & made by skilled lamp makers & told me this leaded glass shade was made by a master in the field. Special Features of this lamp being made by high quality producer during early 20th C. Pic #10 shows the milky opalescent textured glass in various colors including yellow, brown, blue, red, white, green employed in the leaves surrounding this floral design with very fine leading. Pic#11 shows interior of shade colors glass used for the leaves. Other pics show the many tiles of opalescent glass which display with a milky streak inside the glass. Flower Buds have a 3D effect – look carefully at the glass selection technique of the 2 separate budding flowers – 3 orange flowering buds – 3 red/rose color flowering buds – The orange flowering buds have light orange toned colored glass for the outside petals with dark toned orange color of the interior petals. Similar 3D effects of the 4 red/rose color flowering buds with lighter toned colors on exterior petals & darker tones of same color for the interior of flowering petals to display the 3D effect of an actual opening flower bud. This was a glass placement technique only produced by an advanced lamp maker to make this floral arrangement stand out & actually pop with realism of actual outdoor garden. Striated glass colors for the flowers are: orange – yellow – pink – rose – red. All glass panels beginning at aperture crown ring are hand bent glass another sign of a quality lamp producer. The flow of this art nouveau floral design was carefully planned out to make this very desirable. The leading throughput is fine & symmetrical indicates quality maker. Height is 25″ lamp with 17.5″ wide shade. Tree trunk base circular foot is 9 wide. Has a single original antique socket that has P & S imprinted on the brass shell holder. This lamp was made by quality manufacturing company. Pics #4,5 & 6 I have lamp placed on window sill with sunlight illuminating the opalescent colors of the leaves to show the beauty of glass used. Before I conclude further in pic #12 I show another leaded glass shade owned by a friend. Last pic #12 is exactly the same flowing floral design & my friend’s lamp is documented as made by John Morgan & Sons. Pic #12 almost identical as my shade which sits on his bronze Morgan floor base. I leave lamp attribution to new owner to research. I found online a similar tree trunk base that is by Mosaic Shade Company of Chicago – so this base could be by Chicago Mosaic Co and possibly the leaded shade is Chicago Mosaic as well. A very well planned out design by whichever lamp company made this. I personally like my shade much more because of the 3D flower buds & mine has the bent glass panels unlike my friend’s leaded lamp. The floral colors are different variations of my lamp. Condition – Remarkable & well preserved – Not a single heat crack in any of the glass – No cracks! – the tree trunk base originally has been painted green & brown. At bottom underside of base are very slight paint chips that show metal below – the exposed metal is bronze in color. Base condition is excellent – shows evidence that this was originally a gas portable because of gas fitting that was electrified with single socket & tripod holder with round cap to fit under the victorian design heat cap attached to the crown ring which rests on round open tripod cap. Good luck and I know you will be happy with this beautiful leaded glass antique lamp. Antique Stained Glass Scenic Picture Window 44 X 62 Architectural Salvage
This is a great window that was salvaged from a Lincoln Nebraska Victorian Home. The lower section has a large pane of clear wavy glass. The stained glass transom features trees to one side with a lake and mountains in the background. The original frame is painted on both sides. The transom can be separated from the rest but the frame would need to be braced or replaced. It measures 44 inches wide by 62.25 and 1.75 inches thick. The transom only is approx. 44 x 19 and the stained glass without frame is 40 x 16. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a couple of small hairlines. Please look at the pictures carefully. Please inquire with your zip code and I will get you a quote quickly. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! OLD LEADED English stained glass window

OLD LEADED English stained glass window
IT HAS 1 CLEAR TEXTURED PATTERN IT HAS 0 PLAIN CLEAR GLASS IN THE SURROUND. A Dutch fix by others. The April -May-June load of windows (that I paid for in October) is on a truck heading this way. My supplier and I have agreed that the windows have become too scarce and costly to make it worth going forward. The gathering takes him to much time to make if worth it. I met Mike nearly thirty years ago at a show in England. He was a scared kid with a young family trying to find a place in the market. I bought much of what he brought to the show and then went to his warehouse and spent a lot more. I get all of the out of frame windows. My one bad review in years is from a nice lady who could not understand. Every order stands on its own. It is a fact that some deals to the Far West and North West are just not doable. If you check reviews you will find hundreds of mentions on the packaging. I customize boxes to fit the window. Each window will have eight layers of cardboard, two layers of bubble wrap and be surrounded by peanuts or sheet foam. With the Black numbers. Numbers 200 to 249 will be windows 20″ to 24″ inches in both directions, 250 to 299 will be 23″ to 26″ inches. With the Red numbers. 1 to 33 and `136 to 167 will be 15″ to 17″…. 34 to 67 will be 10″ to 13″… 101 to `134 will be 17″ to 20″…. 168 to 200 will be 12″ to 15″. Let me know;otherwise, it will be gone. I list fixed price. That price is usually considerably lower than others. I can only judge what I paid and past sales to fix a price. Once the window has spent time on the market, I will adjust. About 5% of the windows will have had glass replaced. Another 5% will have had exterior lead replaced (covered by frame). In some cases I will mention that there is a small tight crack. It will be noted and most likely highlighted in the photo. I only repair with near perfect matching pieces and if it would require replacing several pieces to compensate for one crack… I just discount and move on. IF there is damage to the piece when you receive it. I view the windows as a bygone form of art. The windows are sixty to over a hundred years old. On rare occasions, I get newly made (in old style) English windows. They are duly noted. A few common terms: Sash= window that is similar in size both directions Transom= window twice or more wide as high Side Window= window twice or more high as wide Victorian=made during reign of Queen Victoria mid to late 1800’s Edwardian= Made during time Edward was regent and King 1890’s-1910 Deco= 1920’s–30’s geometrics Manchester window= Mass produced window from between the wars. Pub glass- make to fill the “Victorian” pubs that sprang up during the American invasion of the 1960’s and 70’s. A repair made by covering the crack with lead on both sides to hide the crack. Easier than doing a real repair. Any that exist are by someone other than myself. All of our pieces are reclaimed from England. This is not the original frame. The original frame was damaged and replaced to preserve the integrity of the piece. The custom frame is knot free 5/4 pine suitable for painting or staining. The actual size of the glass is an inch to inch and a quarter smaller than the listed framed size. Rarely an old frame or a new window will appear thanks to our supplier slipping it in. They will be fully noted. The item “OLD LEADED English stained glass window” is in sale since Saturday, August 29, 2020.
