This Beautiful Stained Glass window is from an old Edwardian home & dates from the very early 1900’s. The measurements are Glass size & Overall including the frame. The colors in this window are green, mauve & yellow. Most of the glass is lightly obscure. The glass is in perfect condition with no cracks or breaks. The frame while in good shape will always be less than perfect & can be hung as is, re-painted, stripped or stained to suit your decor. Antique Stained Glass Transom Window Full Beveled Etched 40 X 16 Salvage

This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian. All the glass is beveled all the way around and the central oval has a wheel cut etched starburst. There are no cracks or breaks. The original oak frame is painted on the outside. It measures 40 inches wide by 16 tall and is. 1.75 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 36 by 12 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. There is a little paint on the glass. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! ANTIQUE LEADED STAINED GLASS ARCH WINDOW, ORIGINAL FRAME, PITTSTON PA 1890s. Very cool arch style stained glass window in original frame. Architectural salvage from a renovation project at a Victorian home in Pittston PA, house was built around 1890. 32 3/16″ wide by 17 5/16″ tall, by 1 7/16 thick (framed). These measurements are CLOSE, not exact. Glass area only: 26.75″ by 12″. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! #6,7,8 show some issues with the frame. FRAME IS MORTISE AND TENON AND IS RELATIVELY SOLID, JUST HAS MINOR ISSUES. #9,10,11 show some examples of tight cracks. THERE WAS EPOXY APPLIED TO MOST OF THE CRACKS AT ONE TIME, CRACKS ARE NOT FALLING APART. THIS FRAMED ARCH WINDOW IS NOT PERFECT. IT WAS MADE IN THE 1890s. ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS Windows Crest NYC ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE. Look at the pictures window is a bit bowed out as shown. They most came out of either a Church or Rectory type building in NYC Just after WWII. Obviously they are quite older than that. Gentleman who gave them to me to sell is a friend. He salvaged them along with about 20 other windows on the 1st big job he every worked on as a contractor. Was in NYC just after WWII. He worked on the job for a few weeks, 10+ hours a day, at the end of the job, the head contractor thanked him. This is what’s left. I recommend coming out and seeing it. These great windows were salvaged from a Philadelphia church that was demolished in the late 1990’s. Another church saved the windows and planned to use them but 20+ years later they decided to sell. Originally they were from The Central Methodist Episcopal church on Orthodox Street Philadelphia. These windows have great colors and design. The dedication plate reads In Memory Of Ethel Castor Judd. The original frames are painted on the outside. Upper measures 41 inches wide, 43 tall and 1.75 thick. Lower measures 41 inches wide, 43.75 tall and 1.75 thick. The glass only is approximately 37 by 39.5 inches. Overall they are in good condition. Scratches and dings as they are antique. The glazing putty could use some touch up. There are a couple tight hairlines. Please look at the pictures carefully.
