ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS WINDOW GG 33 x 43.75 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia church that was demolished in the late 1990’s. Another church saved the windows and planned to use them but 20+ years later they decided to sell. Originally they were from The Central Methodist Episcopal church on Orthodox Street Philadelphia. The window has great colors and design. There are no cracks or breaks. The dedication plate reads In Memory Of, this is on clear glass and can be removed, there is stained glass behind. The original frame is painted on the outside. It measures 33 inches wide by 43.75 tall and is. 1.75 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 29 by 40 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. The glazing putty could use some touch up. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
