ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW 31.5 x 27 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian. It has wonderful colors and design. There are green stalks from the bottom with green leafy tops. The background glass is clear and clear distorted in a variety of textures and patterns and there are 2 jewels. There are no cracks or breaks. The original frame is painted on both sides. It measures 31.5 inches wide by 27 tall and is. 1.75 inches thick. The glass only measures approximately 27 by 20.5 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. The glazing putty will need to be touched up. There is some paint on the glass. There is a slight bowing to the glass in the middle. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
