ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS WINDOW 23 JEWELS 40 x 40 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian. It has great colors and an ornate design with 23 jewels. The original oak frame is unpainted. It measures 40.25 inches wide by 40 tall and is. 1.75 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 36 by 36 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. The window had some work done and the leadwork is a bit sloppy in places. There are some hairlines but no missing glass. The glass was set into the frame the wrong way, channels for ropes are at the top and bottom rather than the sides. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
