ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS WINDOW BEVELED /LEADED 1930s COAL MINE REGION PENNSYLVANIA. Very nice architectural salvage from northeast Pennsylvania. 16″ by 40″ by 1/4 thick. THERE IS NO WOOD FRAMING. I DONT SEE ANY MAJOR ISSUES. THERE IS A HAIRLINE CRACK/CHIP SHOWN IN. It is not a complete crack. There could be another hairline crack in the edge border… But I looked well and only saw the one in photo #6. FRAMING IS ZINC, and it’s very strong and original. CENTERPIECE IS FULLY BEVELED. Antique stained glass window panel. Wrapped in lead, bordered in what looks like zinc. Arts & Crafts type design, multicolored, textured privacy glass. Measures 29 1/4″ long, 20 3/4″ wide, some bowing near center so it will grow in length once flattened. I did not catch any cracked or broken pieces, please look closely at pics of window on a light table. No frame, very tight and sturdy piece. Please see all pics. These larger pieces were usually at the side of a door or a landing window. & dates from the 1920’s & 30’s. The sizes are 10.75″ x 33.75″ Glass & 12.25″ x 35.25″ overall including the frame. The colors are Green, Mauve and Red. The obscurity of the background glass is Heavily Obscured. The original frame could not be saved so this window has been reframed in a new frame. ANTIQUE GOTHIC FIRED LEADED STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOWS, KITES, SET(2) PHILA PA. THE PICTURES WILL SAY MORE THAN WORDS CAN. Very nice set of kites from the Philadelphia area. Exact church is unknown. MEASUREMENTS ARE OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU MEASURE THESE. THEY ARE EACH SLIGHTLY LESS THAN 32.5 long. EACH MEASURING ABOUT 8.25 wide. THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE OF A GENERAL NATURE… Lead is fractions greater and less depending on where you measure. PHOTOS# 6,7,8 and 9 show examples of tight cracks… There are several located on each kite. LEAD IS STRONG, these are in great condition, not at all falling apart. It is highly recommended. THERE ARE NO SUPPORT RODS, there is evidence that support bars existed at one time. SOME OF THE CRACKS HAVE EVIDENCE OF BEING GLUED OR EPOXIED. See pictures #10 and 11. Thanks for your interest!
