Antique Stained Glass Transom Window 14 Jewels 44 X 18 Salvage
This is a great window that was salvaged from an Philadelphia Victorian. The glass is all clear distorted in a variety of textures and patterns. There are 8 large clear roundel jewels and 6 facet cut clear jewels. The original frame is painted on both sides. It measures 44 inches wide by 18 tall and is. 1.75 inch thick. The glass is appx 40 x 14. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. The frame has a couple cosmetic chips and a light crack but is solid and sturdy. There are cracks in 2 border pieces. I have matching antique glass and will have those pieces replaced. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
