ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW 48 x 16 ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian. It has a clear glass background with colorful accents. The original frame is weathered but sturdy and painted on both sides. It measures 48 inches wide by 16 tall and is. 1.5 inch thick. The glass only measures approximately 44 by 12.5 inches. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. There is one hairline. The frame has chips and gouges but is sturdy. There is paint on the glass that will need to be removed. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
